🎨 Theme Guidelines
Bionantism is a visual artistic theme in which nature and technology are born together as a single whole — not in contrast, not as decoration, and never as fantasy.
The theme is expressed through works such as bio-technical still lifes (fruits, objects, plants, living creatures), floral compositions, and landscapes, where the organic and the mechanical are born and grow as one body. We strongly advice to avoid human beings.
✔️ Your work must reflect this organic fusion.
❌ Digital or AI-generated artworks are not accepted.
❌ Fantasy, magic, retro aesthetics or protest messages will be disqualified.
👉 Below you will find 12 example artworks already created in the Bionantism theme.
👉 These works are not to be copied, but to serve as visual references and inspiration for your own submission.
👉 The jury will particularly value original and innovative approaches, not simple variations of existing ideas or colors.

Participation is free of charge.
All submissions must be sent by email to office@tablouri-de-vis.ro with the subject line:
“Bionantism Contest 2025 – Submission”.
Step 1 – Initial submission (WIP photo)
Each artist must first send:
- One WIP (Work In Progress) photo – a photo taken during the creation process, around halfway through or at a significant stage.
- The image must clearly show the artwork in progress, not just a finished piece with a minor line or mark added.
- Artist details: full name, country, and contact email.
👉 The organizers may provide feedback at this stage to confirm if the direction matches the Bionantism theme.
After completing the work, each artist must send:
- One final photo of the artwork
- High resolution (minimum 300 dpi)
- JPG or PNG format
- Maximum file size: 10 MB
- Short description of the artwork (maximum 500 characters, in English).
⚠️ Only one artwork per artist will be accepted.
⚠️ Both WIP and final photos are mandatory – submissions missing any element will be disqualified.
⚠️ Digital or AI-generated artworks are not eligible.
Artists selected to enter the contest will be notified by email shortly after the submission deadline (November 10, 2025).
Once confirmed, they must actively support the promotion of the Bionantism theme by:
- Publishing their artwork online (after receiving confirmation).
- The title of the artwork must include the word “Bionantism” (e.g. “Hybrid Pear in Bionantism”).
- This ensures visibility and easier verification.
- Posting on social media (Facebook and Instagram) with the hashtag #bionantism.
- Tagging the official account:
- @tdvart24
- Publishing the artwork on at least 2 recognized art platforms, such as:
- Artmajeur
- Saatchi Art
- DeviantArt
- Behance
- ArtStation
- Personal website or blog
- Sending back all publication links (social media + platforms) to office@tablouri-de-vis.ro by November 20, 2025.
👉 These rules are mandatory for all selected participants.
👉 Failure to comply may result in disqualification, even if the artwork has already been admitted to the contest.
